Gossip swirled as Chris Buescher’s back-to-back wins raised eyebrows and fueled discussions about teammate and co-owner Brad Keselowski‘s performance. Brett Griffin had strong-toned remarks about Brad’s potential, questioning the last time Brad had a similar streak to Chris.

“When was the last time Brad won back-to-back races? He’s making Brad his b*tch?” Griffin exclaimed.

In response, industry insider Casey Boat offered a nuanced view, downplaying the comment while suggesting Keselowski’s busy schedule might affect his performance. “I’m not sure about that, and I don’t think that’s how I would phrase it. I would also say that Brad maybe has his hands full with a few other things on top of driving” she added.

As Brad Keselowski’s seasoned spotter, TJ Majors, swiftly jumped in, the latter defended Brad’s position as he highlighted that both races Chris won had fast cars for both teams, implying Brad could have been in a similar winning position. Majors suggested Brad’s team had the potential to match Chris’ success.

“Well, the good thing is that in both races that Chris won, both cars were fast during those weekends too. So, we could have been in the same position Chris was in Majors stated.

After the disappointing Atlanta race, this isn’t the first occasion when Majors has stepped in for Keselowski. Brad led admirably as Stage 2 neared its close. The weather dictated the strategy for Stage 2’s final laps as the critical decision to pit or not lingered. Unfortunately, Keselowski couldn’t sustain his lead, resulting in a less-than-ideal 6th place. The bitter reality of the outcome, extending Keselowski’s winless stretch since his 2021 Talladega triumph, was a tough pill to swallow for both Brad and Majors.

“We lost. I don’t know, it was a good race, it was fun driving from the back to the front, and then having to do it again. We didn’t get a chance to get all the way back to the front there at the end” Majors remarked.
