Brad Keselowski, the 2012 NASCAR Cup Series Champion is eyeing the upcoming season of NASCAR. But, this time he sees it from two standpoints- as a racer and a team owner. In 2021, he acquired a large share in Roush Fenway Racing turning it into RFK Racing, where the ‘K’ is him! Keselowski standing at the forefront of his team’s operations opened back-to-back playoff opportunities since 2022. Chris Buescher, his teammate, shares a unique employee-owner relationship with him. They race together, support each other on race tracks, and have fun off-field.
A humorous promotional video shared by RFK Racing on their X handle shows Keselowski driving to work in a firesuit, and Buescher’s reaction to his ‘uniform’ claim. This slight leg pulling makes way for a wholesome response from the former too.

Brad Keselowski’s RFK Racing promotional clip from Charlotte
The video showcased owner Brad Keselowski, driving his Mustang to work in the 2025 RFK Racing firesuit with revised sponsors. He says, “People always ask me ‘Why do you drive to work with your fire suit on?’ Pretty simple. My dad always told me ‘You should show up at work ready to work.’ If you wear a work uniform, you should have it on when you get there. There you go, Dad.” Keselowski’s exaggerated way of promoting safety might seem over the top, but, it’s not half as funny as Buescher’s answers!
Chris Buescher is then seen walking down the hallway (in his firesuit) testifying the alleged reason for his owner’s action. “He’s Guarding. Can you imagine getting in an accident with Brad Keselowski and being all upset and you get out….. And, he steps out in a fire suit? How are you going to be mad anymore?” People crashing with Keselowski will first think they were fateful, considering the number of unlucky crashes he has had throughout his illustrious career! But, that’s a great way to put it. Buescher took a dig and defended him as well.
It wouldn’t be a surprise if anyone crashing into Keselowski turns out to be his fan, especially since he’s such a well-liked member of the NASCAR community. Despite being known for some aggressive moves on the track, his 2012 Championship and the way he handles fans is something that has made him popular. Besides, his interaction with fans on X and other social media platform is enough reason for fans to find him as a likeable driver.

The reason Buescher gave for this statement was “And, there’s a high probability. We’re in Downtown Charlotte. It’s madness! Uptown Charlotte, I don’t know, they call it weird things.” Interesting details in the video pointed out that he and Keselowski might be at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. The yellow and white walls, and screens showing ‘NASCAR’ are some points that give it away. But, why is it about Charlotte? Well, the latter sent an encrypted hint.

Remember the Coca-Cola 600 Crash of 2022? For this reason, Brad Keselowski had to end the race prematurely because of the multi-car crash. In 2014, he was fined $50,000 and was placed under probation in the next four races for his role in a series of heated incidents at the end of the Sprint Cup Series race at Charlotte. This chain reaction had started with Matt Kenseth putting Keselowski in a headlock. With all these already rooting from this venue, the least he can do is stay safe here. A lot is waiting to happen in 2025. The video ended with the owner’s final response to his racer, “Chris, I am so thankful for your concern, and your words of wisdom. You’re a true pro. You get it, buddy.”

Keselowski opens up about his hands-on approach
Now, the video was not just a one-off moment. It’s part of Brad Keselowski’s social media strategy. Given how involved he is with the team, it’s no surprise he’s helping with the videos. However, it doesn’t do justice to his overall effort for the entire organization. Having bought into Rousch Fenway back in 2022, Brad Keselowski understood he had a role bigger than just being a driver. As a result, he goes super micro in working with every single department.
Speaking about this aspect, he said, “I love walking the shop floor. It’s probably my favorite thing to do. You get called into meetings, Zoom calls, and whatever fire needs putting out, but walking the floor is where I learn the most. Nine times out of ten, you see something and think, ‘Oh, that makes sense.’ But every now and then, you come across something where you think, ‘Whoa, back it up’.”

And when he’s not in HQ he’s usually drumming up interest in the team. Kroger’s arrival is a testament to that. The video with Chris Buescher, however, was a kind reminder of the funnier side of Keselowski.
