Kyle Larson and his Wife, Caitlyn finally welcome their newborn son after 9 months of anticipation. And luckily, the birth happened right as the off-season started, so the 2021 Cup Series Champion could give his wife and the newest addition to their family some much-needed time. Welcome to the family, Cooper Donald Larson!

But why did he choose the middle name Donald for his son? This a fairly simple question but turns out there’s a very wholesome reason for it.

The 2021 champ revealed, “Caitlyn’s dad’s Donald. And then her grandpa’s Donald, and my uncle my mom’s brother his name is Donald too. So yeah, we got a lot of Donalds.”

Seems like it’s an homage to both his and his wife’s families with the name. And frankly, it’s quite thoughtful too! Hopefully, the fans can see Cooper Donald Larson in the victory lane with his father when he’s old enough!

However, it seems like there’s going to be a lot on his plate upcoming.

Will Kyle Larson be able to look after his son in 2023 with his jam-packed schedule?

Larson has added his own sprint car racing series into his routine along with the usual Late Model races he runs. And that is on top of his pre-existing responsibilities at Hendrick Motorsports; the 2023 Cup Series schedule already got plenty of slack for its racing volume.

He revealed, “As far as more Late Model and Sprint Car races this year – I’ll do more Sprint Car racing than Late Model stuff. So my Late Model schedule as of right now, I don’t have any races after June in the Late Model. A lot more Sprint Car stuff than the Late Model…”

It already looks like he has a completely packed schedule for 2023, with all the racing and managing his own racing series. So, will it really be an easy task with his pre-existing responsibilities as a father to two sons and also that of a husband? Or is he adding too much to his plate? Let us know in the comments.
