And making the waves is the news about NASCAR’s very own brainchild, the Garage 56 project!

Ever since the inception of the idea, fans have been craving for more updates. The joint venture between Hendrick Motorsports, Chevrolet, Good Year, and NASCAR is highly anticipated as the event features an array of star drivers, driving the car on Le Mans 24 later in June this year!

And adding to the excitement, NASCAR recently teased the fanbase with an awesome new livery for the Chevy! Having done the final testing of the car, the organization decided to unveil some snippets of the ambitious project on track. As Fox on NASCAR revealed the latest images of the racecar, fans have been drooling at the racy blue Chevy with the majority talking about the unconventional bits that add beauty to the car!

NASCAR teases fans with the Chevy while the unique set of eyes steals the show

Ever since its inception, the idea of a stock car racing team assembling a car for the centenary ceremony for one of the most iconic racing series in the world, Le Mans 24 has been intriguing the whole fan community for quite a time now. And with the organization coming out with the latest images, fans were in fact in love with the machine as they duly noted the set of unique LED headlamps!

Unlike the traditional Cup Series cars, the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 will feature bigger and wider spoilers, peculiar all while running headlamps in a brand new racing livery. The race car has been rigorously tested by the authorities at the Sebring International raceway.

Soon after its final test run, Fox on NASCAR teased the spanking new images of the car in their official Instagram handle, and guess what fans are going bonkers over it!

And NASCAR has gone all out over its most ambitious project, bringing in the 7x Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson, former F1 World Champion Jenson Button, former Le Mans 24-hour winner Mike Rockenfeller, and the talented 3x IMSA winner Jordan Taylor on board as the official drivers for the prestigious race in June.

Moreover, now with the car race ready, the community is in for a blockbuster event. With months away, legendary NASCAR driver Jimmie Johnson shared his thoughts after putting the car through its pace on the track as part of its run.

As per Speedcafe.com, Johnson revealed, “I feel really good about it,” further the veteran driver elaborated, “We’ve put in many hours, a lot of work, a lot of collaboration and I feel like we’re in a really good spot.”

Fans went on a spree, commenting their thoughts. While most expressed their delight, some fans noted the peculiar headlamps fitted on the car.
