The NASCAR world witnessed the blitz at the Daytona 500 recently. It came with its own highs and lows in the first phase. There were high expectations from the two-time Cup Series champion Kyle Busch but it did not end well for him. The unfortunate turn of events during the final laps saw him go from 1st to 19th spot.

The overtime chaos in the race led to a setback for the Richard Childress Racing star. But in the eyes of his fans, he is the winner. Samantha Busch posted a few pictures on her Instagram recently supporting her husband. She wrote, “Reallllyy thought we had that one! Big things to come with the 8 team this year. Kyle’s ready, the boys are ready and the car is ready. Let’s go get some trophies!”

Though Rowdy was leading in the race, and it looked like he would cross the finish line and get to the checkered flag, Saurez’s spin led to the overtime and changed the game completely. Not just the fans, but a few of Busch’s near-and-dear ones also poured in their support for the family.

Kurt Busch’s soon-to-be ex-wife Ashley acknowledged Samanatha’s post by liking it. Whitney Dillon, the wife of RCR driver Austin Dillon, came out in support of the Busches and wrote, “Same, it’s coming!!” Though the first phase of the race might not have gone in their favor, their fans certainly believe things will get better.

Pointing out the current rules, some fans wrote, “They should have left it green when Suarez spun out”; “It was rigged he should have won”; “I really thought he had it too….I wasn’t expecting a caution to be called…it was a spinout that ended on the grass, not a wreck”; and “He absolutely won that race!!!
