“But listen, uh Larson, this is the big win for him, uh I know that uh you know he was super pumped uh on our golf guys chat,” said Hamlin.

Speaking to his co-host Jared Allen, Hamlin shared his thoughts about Larson’s stellar victory while the community reminisced about Hendrick Motorsports’ first win. He’s gotten so much better, back when he ran uh for Ganassi like Larson, man he was all over the place and he couldn’t hit the same line twice and uh he really put a lot of work in to get better at these uh these short tracks and uh and he’s with an organization that’s won I think this is their 28th win or something, Martinsville. Hendrick Motorsports is one of the most ‘winningest’ teams in NASCAR history. With the likes of Jimmie Johnson, Geoff Bodine, Jeff Gordon, and now Kyle Larson and Chase Elliott, the team has always had a special lineup of drivers.

But things weren’t always like this. The team has had its fair share of bad days. However, the grind during those struggling days is now paying off. Paying homage to Geoff Bodine and his spectacular 1984 Martinsville win, which was the start of something special, NASCAR released a special video featuring the tale of the team clawing its way up in NASCAR.

Here is what the fans had to say about NASCAR’s Tribute to Hendrick Motorsports:

“It’s crazy to think how if Geoff Bodine didn’t win that race, Hendrick Motorsports wouldn’t even exist.”

“The literal definition of checkers or wreckers. I’m grateful Hendrick exists today. Just think about how many drivers may have not even raced or made history. Jeff Gordon, Jimmie, Dale, Larson, Chase, Busch etc. Even if you don’t like Hendrick. You have to be grateful for what this team means to a lot of people and NASCAR in general.”“I will always be a Hendrick Motorsports fan”

“Just think about how different NASCAR would be today if Hendrick didn’t exist. Jimmie Johnson might not of won any championships, heck he might never have even gotten a good opportunity. Kyle Larson would either not be racing or be racing for a backmarker team, and Kyle Busch might never have gotten a good opportunity either. Dale Jr. would have been stuck at a bad team, and so many other talents would be wasted.”“This is the moment true story about Hendrick Motorsports couldn’t give up this team, but we will to recreate history of NASCAR and Hendrick Motorsports did they making all the way to the championship contenders to rebuild legacy.”WATCH THIS STORY: “How happy is the PGA Tour that Brooks didn’t win?” – Denny Hamlin offers insight into recently concluded masters tournament while applauding Phil Mickelson.
