Recently, Dale Earnhardt Jr. praised the team efforts showcased by Chase Elliott while Hendrick Motorsports found an interim replacement.
Dale Jr. recently joined co-host Mike Davis at The Dale Jr. Download podcast, where the duo discussed Chase Elliott’s injury and Hendrick Motorsports‘ team situation following the tragedy. Junior resonated with Elliot while revealing how tough it could be for a driver to see someone else in their car. Moreover, the two-time Busch Series champ commended the efforts Elliott has been making for his team off the track.

In the recent episode of The Dale Jr. Download podcast, The NASCAR veteran. disclosed that he had a brief conversation with Chase Elliott about his injury via text. The 48-year-old reckoned that the Hendrick Motorsports driver was handling the whole situation like a ‘pro’.
Moreover, Dale Jr. shared that Elliott was trying to do everything possible to help his team by getting more involved and understanding the ins and outs of the processes. He added, “So when he does come back, it gets almost seamless as it can be. He understands everything they have been dealing with. And, so from what I can tell man, he’s handling it as good as you can possibly handle it. And, but he’s a pro.”
Thus, Dale Earnhardt Jr. was quite impressed by the way Chase Elliott is dealing with the unfortunate phase. He commended him for still offering his dedication to the team, despite battling with the injury physically and emotionally. However, in Elliott’s absence, who will be filling in his empty seat?
