Justin Marks must certainly be on cloud nine by now. Both of its drivers competing in the Cup Series have hit the jackpot. While Daniel Suarez grabbed hold of a primary sponsorship with Coca-Cola a little while back, Ross Chastain, “the Watermelon Man,” has brewed up a sponsorship with another major brand. And fans are confident that this sponsorship is Chastain’s path to ultimate glory. Well, fans aren’t the only ones thinking that. It seems like Dale Earnhardt Jr. has also joined fans in this theory.

Dale, in his podcast Dale Jr. Download, provides some valuable insight into Ross’s fresh sponsorship. While it has been the talk of NASCAR town for quite some time, it is high time fans got to know what they think about this sponsorship. And Dale Jr. has delivered in this regard.

In quite a grand manner, Anheuser-Busch, or Busch Beer, made the announcement. Fans had tried to draw some conclusions from all the hints they had been dropping on social media. Yet, the actual announcement of their partnership with Ross Chastain was no less amazing for them. From 2024 on, Anheuser-Busch’s brand Busch Light will be backing the No. 1 driver. Two-time Xfinity Series champion Dale Jr. has opened up about his take on the sponsorship, and what he has to say gives Chastain fans great hope.

Pretty incredible that Trackhouse was able to land such a big fish, you know what I mean?” said Dale Jr. “I don’t want to undersell their current providers, but that’s a big, that’s a huge one. I think that’s great for Ross, I think he’s a good match. We’re gonna find out,” he added.

With this new major partnership, the sky is the limit for Ross if he plays his cards right. At least, Dale Jr seems to think so.

I think this is sort of one of the final boxes to check for Ross for him. Now he has all the ingredients to become one of, if not the biggest star in the sport,” he reflected. For a racer who had partnered with Budweiser in 1999, this is indeed an arena where his opinion holds significant weight.

This is indeed a proud moment for Justin Marks-owned Trackhouse Racing. Both of its Cup Series drivers have bagged sponsorships with two of the four Premier Cup Series sponsors. Now that Kevin Harvick is retiring, the brewing magnate has moved on to the next racer they feel has the greatest potential. And Dale Jr. is nothing but optimistic about this new partnership.

“Look, I know that they got a lot of partners and they’ve got good funding and great support. But this type of partnership gives me so much confidence about Trackhouse and their ability to sustain their performance, and be a major player in our sport long-term,” he said. NASCAR fans, however, are hopeful for something other than Chastain’s potential win this season.

For Ross Chastain, fans demand a unique brew
