With a few races down, the NASCAR Cup Series, in its glorious 75th year, is on a roll. As much as fans are enjoying the grand event, all the action on track has kept the drivers striving for more. But unfortunately, not every driver is having a season worth cherishing. As for Team Penske driver Ryan Blaney, the Daytona 500 was possibly the only highlight of his season so far where he finished 8th. Seeing this, Kyle Petty did not hesitate to take a dig at him, which apparently did not go well with the NASCAR fans.

Though there are a lot of uncertainties in any race, drivers try to give their best. After all, who doesn’t want to see their name shining at the top? The 29-year-old, who is believed to have great potential, managed to earn his spot in the top ten in the Daytona 500 but not in other races of 2023. Once Petty’s comments came to the light, NASCAR fans could not resist, but aggressively reacted to the comments from the former driver.
