Dale Earnhardt Jr. is a sucker for hosting parties. He is known to party throughout the week, especially in his earlier NASCAR days. While most of the parties he hosted were relaxing and laid-back, some of them have been etched in history as being too absurd and categorized as NSFW [Not Safe for Work].
The tradition of partying at the yacht runs in the Earnhardt family. Dale Earnhardt, Dale Jr.’s father, owned Sunday Money, the 100-foot Hatteras yacht, estimatedly worth $4.2 million. But, despite Dale Jr. being conservative about reckless spending, he does not bind his yearning for parties. Many of his NASCAR peers have partied at his place, and one of them is his own long-time spotter, TJ Majors.
What happened at Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s party back in 2006 that TJ Majors was too shy talking about?

Back in 2006, Majors was spotting for Brad Keselowski and found himself at a party at Junior’s house. This chance encounter with the famously fun-loving “Party Jr.” led to a stronger friendship and eventually to Majors becoming Junior’s spotter in 2007 for the No. 8 car in Dale Earnhardt Inc. In a recent chat with Todd Gilliland for Dirty Mo Media, TJ Majors shared a memorable story from that 2006 party.
Majors recalled, “Yeah, well, that night we were partying at the Western Town and your dad actually came back and we all pretty much celebrated down there. I’m not telling the entire story, it’s too bad.” TJ here was talking about the night after David Gilliland won at the Kentucky Speedway, his first race in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, in 2006. Western Town is Dale Jr.’s 300-acre personal leisure town he had built to rejuvenate.
TJ continued narrating the story, as he said, “Basically, he took a car to go get something to eat and came back or he thought it was your dad’s but it wasn’t. It ended up being another driver’s and he may have crashed it.” This part totally shocked Freddie and left Todd speechless.

Another driver, Clint Bowyer, remembers a time when he was almost abandoned by Dale Earnhardt Jr. and his ride home, Kasey Kahne. He was stuck in the locked basement for pretty long before someone finally appeared and released him from his confinement. Thinking back about that time still sends thrills down his spine.
There are many such stories about the Party King’s pad and his quirky events. But in his defense, all he ever wanted was to hang out with friends, drink beer, and pull off all-nighters, just because he was too pumped to sleep.

Dale Jr. admitted in an interview that the adrenaline rush from racing was a major trigger for the party zone. The Mooresville-native driver also named his gang Dirty Mo Posse as derived from the high school slang for the town. And he got a DMP tattoo on himself to certify the cult.

The adrenaline from the race used to survive till it was time to prepare for the next race the subsequent weekend. Dale Earnhardt Jr. even acknowledged the fact that his parties were audacious back in time because he wasn’t married. It sounds like he has toned down on his party cult. But the Budweiser guy is certain in one aspect that he doesn’t regret living his life through all those years. It was something his sponsor at the time was also happy about because he truly embodied the product. Dale Jr. is a typical example of a lad having fun.
Even today he believes all he needs is some beer and cigarettes to get started. In a post released by Dirty Mo Media earlier in April, Junior was heard saying, “Maybe I’m just one of the old guards, man … I need to drink and smoke cigarettes and go kick ass.”
