Right now, Bubba Wallace is on the wrong side of a lot of extreme and, depending on whether you accept the facts or not, fair or unfair opinions for wrecking Kyle Larson in the fashion that he did. The 23XI Racing driver made things worse for him by following up the wreck with a blatant shove on Larson soon after.

All of this, as mentioned before, has attracted a lot of criticism his way.

And as is usually the case, with this level of criticism from a recent mistake, his other incidents are also bouncing back into the light. Perhaps this was the case when a YouTuber made a video on the NASCAR’s driver’s low moments titled, “Bubba Wallace is the Ryan Leaf of NASCAR.”

Curiously though, on this video, there was a comment from a Barry Jowers, an iRacing driver who recounted an incident with the NASCAR driver that further paints him in a less-than-ideal light.

“I find Bubba getting mad about getting wrecked on iRacing and rage quitting laughable because he did to me what he did to Kyle Larson this past weekend while we were battling for the win one night on iRacing,” the comment read.

“He was still in the Xfinity series at the time. I had the lead coming out of turn four and he hooked my right rear causing both of us to crash and letting someone else get the win.”

What Bubba Wallace did in Vegas could’ve had a tragic end, per Joey Logano

Bubba Wallace gathered a lot of criticism for his actions against Kyle Larson in Vegas, but perhaps it was Joey Logano’s take on the incident which was the harshest, and in some ways, the most eye-opening one.

“The retaliation is not okay in the way it happened. If he’s spun him to the infield, maybe it’s a little better, maybe. But right rear-hooking someone…is not okay, like that could’ve been, I don’t know if anyone realizes how bad that could’ve been,” Logano said.

“That could’ve been the end of Kyle Larson’s career, that to me, was what was on the line, or his life.”

Logano argued that Larson was lucky because he hit Christopher Bell first, softening his impact to the wall. “But he might’ve flush hit that thing in the side and then, game over,” Logano continued. “There’s no room for that. You can’t do that.”
