This year’s Daytona 500 saw an unexpected winner in the form of Rick Stenhouse Jr. The last few laps of the race saw maximum chaos with multiple “big ones” taking place. All of this led to Kyle Busch losing out on his chance to win at the iconic event finally. However, after the race, when Busch came out of the infield care center following his last lap wreck, he had a four-word dig aimed at the race winner. Later on, Stenhouse Jr addressed the haters.
As per Heavy on NASCAR’s Facebook post, Stenhouse Jr said, “Obviously you’re going to have haters everywhere. And when you have somebody at the time like Kyle Busch getting out and bashing you, that’s difficult to overcome.
“I mean, I feel like I’ve put myself in some bad spots throughout my career. But the faster we get our cars, the more I can take care of them and still run them close to the front.”

Later on, he asked who got lucky with the win and was informed that it was Ricky Stenhouse Jr. Rowdy was in no mood to congratulate his rival at that time, and decided to throw shade on Stenhouse and said, “there you have it.” This was kind of upsetting to hear from the veteran since it was a hard-fought win for Stenhouse Jr.
