The 2023 Cup Series season was a tough one for Tony Stewart and Stewart-Haas Racing. Not only did the team fail to make the playoffs, they did not even win a single race. To top that off, Kevin Harvick and Aric Almirola bid their farewells and reportedly, eight sponsors also decided to end their partnership with the team. But as the saying goes, every cloud has a silver lining and this time around, that might just be Josh Berry.

Berry used to be a driver in the Xfinity Series for JR Motorsports. The 33-year-old was brought in by Tony Stewart in a full-time Cup Series role starting in 2024. He will be replacing the legendary Kevin Harvick who hung up his boots at the end of last season. It won’t be an easy job to fill The Closer’s shoes, but Berry is a motorsports veteran in his own right.

His on-track prowess may be the main reason why he was recruited by SHR, but Josh Berry’s sponsorships and partners might have played a role in that decision as well. After reportedly losing eight sponsors, striking deals with new ones are certainly high on Tony Stewart’s priority list. Well, it turns out that Harrison’s could be one of the answers to Smoke’s problems.

The company chief, Kevin Harrison, recently shared a post on Facebook that suggested it will be one of the main sponsors of the #4 Stewart-Haas Racing team for the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season. It seems like Josh Berry’s hiring is already bearing fruit even before he made his way onto the track for the team.

Sharing a picture of a white car adorned with Harrison’s logo, the chief wrote: “We are definitely on this car this coming weekend with Josh Berry and Stewart-Haas Racing.  You may or may not want to be watching social media in the morning at around say 8:30 AM or so… May or may not be an announcement about an unnamed 4 car and Harrison’s for 2024.”

Harrison’s is not the only sponsor that Josh Berry has managed to pull for Stewart-Haas Racing. A few days ago, RACER reported that SUNNYD will be continuing its partnership with Stewart-Haas Racing and will serve as the primary sponsor for Berry in select races.

How many races will SUNNYD serve as a primary sponsor for the #4 car? Well, that is yet to be confirmed. However, what’s confirmed is that the company logo will be on the hood of the #4 for the Busch Light Clash at the LA Coliseum and, of course, the Daytona 500. The brand will also be a season-long associate sponsor.

“The 2024 season marks SUNNYD’s ninth consecutive year as a primary sponsor in the NASCAR Cup Series and we’re excited to align with Josh Berry and Stewart-Haas Racing right out of the gate with the Clash and Daytona 500,” said Henk Hartong, Chairman of SUNNYD. “We’re grateful to our fans and customers for their loyal support of SUNNYD and what can be considered the best paint scheme on the track. We look forward to our ongoing partnership with Stewart-Haas and the No. 4 car and splashing SUNNYD on Josh in victory lane.”
