On Monday night, against all odds, Atlanta Braves defeated Houston Astros to win the World Series. The Braves’ fans celebrated the victory in what was a night to remember for them. And amongst those celebrating was a high-profile name from NASCAR, Chase Elliott.
Chase Elliott, a hardcore fan of Atlanta Braves, expressed his jubilation towards the MLB Champs by posting a string of stories on his Instagram account.
He put up a post on his story and wrote, “Yes!!!!! Yes. They. Did.”

Chase Elliott was born less than 100 miles from Atlanta in the city of Dawsonville.
The Hendrick driver has been an allegiant fan of the Braves for a long time. In a recent interview, he expressed his excitement and described the Braves going in the final as a big deal.
“The Braves have been trying to get back to the World Series for a long time. And I already kinda knew that storyline. I’ve been a fan long enough to appreciate that…it is a big deal for everyone around home.”
Chase Elliott would want to celebrate another title with the Braves
Yes, the 25-year-old is in a celebratory mood for his team’s MLB win, but he can’t afford to remain so for long.
Elliott will take part in the NASCAR Cup Series finale in Phoenix on Sunday. Heading into the race, the No.9 driver is the defending champion. He will look to repeat last year’s result and prevent his rivals from stealing his crown.
He, along with his title favorite Hendrick teammate Kyle Larson, and Joe Gibbs duo of Denny Hamlin and Martin Truex Jr, advanced to the Championship 4 of the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs.

Even though he has only won twice this year, Chase Elliott knows that it’s not how many before Phoenix, but winning the one in Phoenix which matters above all.
Last year, Elliott celebrated his first Cup Series title in his hometown of Dawsonville.

But this year, if things go according to his plans, he won’t mind going 58 miles away from his hometown for a double celebration.
