His recent involvement in bringing back the fan-favorite North Wilkesboro track got him critical acclaim from the NASCAR community, proving that he is more than just a commentator but more of an ambassador for the sport.
His CARS Tours series is another example of the veteran’s commitment to the sport, bringing the precedence back on the old god short format of racing.
In fact, it is Junior’s pet projects and ambitions that make him a lovable personality in NASCAR, garnering respect from the fans. However, there’s a slight problem. As age catches up to the veteran, forgetfulness has now become a task with the 49-year-old making it clear in his “X” handle.
