With festivities commencing ahead of Christmas, the holiday season provides much cheer to so many people around the world. In light of that, a few members from the NASCAR community, like Joey Logano and Hailie Deegan, are doing their bit to help the underprivileged.
The initiative named ‘Hailie’s Holiday Haul’ ensured the delivery of 350 hams to two social organizations based in North Carolina. The Joey Logano Foundation also teamed up with her for this noble charitable activity.
Deegan stated, “I think it’s so important to give back to the community, especially if you have great people like Ford behind you who are on the same path and have the same motives.”

“I think if you can both work together, you can make some great things happen and put some smiles on people’s faces,” she added.
Joey Logano believes he can reach out and inspire others
“There are a lot of families that don’t get to experience the holidays fully with the resources they have, so to be able to give them a chance to have the fullest potential of those holidays means a lot,” concluded Hailie on the subject.
Cup Series driver Joey Logano’s own foundation also joined Hailie in contributing to the cause. Logano believes that he can reach out and help people in his own way.

Logano stated, “My way is a little bit different. My platform that God’s given me with NASCAR is substantially different. I can reach out to others, I can inspire others, and I can make a big impact in that way. That’s the reason why we do it.”
The two drivers then combined to donate 5,000 masks as well as part of Ford’s donation efforts.

This is not the 19-year-old’s first foray into philanthropic efforts. During Thanksgiving last month, Hailie partnered with Ford to deliver 3325 pounds of turkey to various families in the city of Detroit.
Regardless, it is always great to see sports personalities get involved in such noble work. Deegan and Logano are only displaying the spirit of being role models and an inspiration to their fans.
