Like the Cup and Xfinity series, the Truck Series is also set to crown a champion this weekend. This weekend’s protagonists are Grant Enfinger, Sheldon Creed, Zane Smith, and Brett Moffitt.
However, Enfinger has been handed an advantage, as he will start on the pole for Friday’s season finale at the Phoenix Raceway.
Enfinger will be high on confidence, especially in the wake of his victory at Martinsville last weekend. It was enough for him to secure a berth in the Championship 4. Joining Enfinger on the front row is rookie driver Zane Smith, with Creed and Moffitt tailing them. Meanwhile, defending series champ Matt Crafton will start fifth as he prepares to relinquish his crown.

The rest of the pack is led by Ben Rhodes, Christian Eckes, Derek Kraus, Stuart Friesen and Tyler Ankrum completing the Top 10. Admittedly, this Friday’s race could be very interesting, as the quartet duke it out on the track.

Out of the quartet, Brett Moffitt is the only one who has won a Gander & RV Truck Series title. His triumph came in 2018, and he will be eager to add a second one to his belt.
However, the likes of Enfinger, Creed, and Smith will have something to say about that. For Zane Smith, he has been thrown into the championship mix in his first full-time season. Obviously, he will feel a bit of pressure, as there is a chance that he could be the first rookie champion in the Truck Series.
As a veteran in the sport, Grant Enfinger will certainly know a thing or two, compared to his rivals. However, the likes of Sheldon Creed have been in rock-solid form this season.

Having said all this, the Phoenix Raceway could throw up plenty of surprises. At the end of the day, only one will emerge triumphant and it all boils down to who crosses the finish line first.
