The holiday season is indeed the best time of the year for most of the NASCAR drivers. After almost nine months worth of racing and being on on-road, this is the time of the year when they get to spend time with their families and loved ones. Although Dale Earnhardt Jr. didn’t have NASCAR commitments in the NBC booth, he is also making the most of this off-time enjoying the festive vibe.

But every good thing eventually has come to an end and the same goes for the holiday season. Well, it seems like Dale Jr. isn’t ready to walk back into the reality of what life would be like for Christmas. And this was evident from his Christmas wish that he sent out to the racing community from his social media account.

It’s fair to say Jr.’s wife, Amy, had her hands full taking care of all three babies at home throughout 2024. Dale Jr.’s racing was restricted to Late Model Stock car events and a solo NASCAR Xfinity Series race in Bristol. Without the NBC booth commitments, the former HMS driver’s work schedule revolved around his podcast and, of course, some quality time with his family at home.

Perhaps this was one of the reasons why he felt that December just flew by. Taking to X, the veteran driver shared the bittersweet feeling he is going through on the eve of Christmas. “Merry Christmas, y’all. Hope it’s been a good holiday season. Man, it seems this one flew by. The Christmas music on the local radio station won’t be playing much longer. I gotta do better next year at slowing this month down at bit, if that’s at all possible. Cheers 🍻”

Amy did share how the Earnhardt’s celebrated Christmas at their home via Instagram stories. Isla and Nicole were having a blast indulging in the cookie feast, and they were spoiled for choices. They even had a big Christmas tree decorated in all its glory; the fine decoration done on the tree made it feel like it had actual snow on it. Isla’s Christmas wish indeed came true as she was gifted a Taylor Swift bracelet.

The Earnhardt family also remembered their German roots as they had a small tree placed on a piece of cloth that had “Frohe Weihnachten” printed on it. And of course, the celebration wouldn’t be complete without some good drinks. Thanks to their very own High Rock vodka, they shared a unique recipe that made for a perfect Christmas cocktail.

Apart from Dale Earnhardt Jr., a lot of other NASCAR stars also took to social media and shared how they celebrated Christmas.

Kyle Busch’s son Brexton was certainly shocked to see an entire boat gifted to him on Christmas Eve. Samantha Busch captured the live reaction to the gift reveal and shared it on Instagram. Meanwhile, both Busch and Samantha had a hard time placing the gifts under the Christmas tree as both Brexton and Lennix ditched sleep to catch a glimpse of Santa.

On the other hand, Denny Hamlin’s little princess Molly also kept her mom, Jordan Fish, busy with her antics. They received a special gift wrapped in a big box delivered to their home. The gift box had a message: “Open me tomorrow,” but Molly, in pure excitement, almost opened the box. Jordan’s intervention came in clutch as she managed to get Molly to read the message on the gift box. That’s not it; Molly even dressed up in all red to welcome Santa with special cookies.

Chase Briscoe also had an eventful time celebrating Christmas with his family. However, he was having a hard time trying to get a good selfie click of the entire family. Luckily he was able to get one clean shot, which he posted on Instagram stories with the caption, “The best one we got.” It’s fair to say that the homemade cinnamon rolls were indeed the highlight of the celebration, and as it turns out, preparing these rolls is part of the Briscoe’s family tradition.
