Ryan Blaney is a regular guest at FS1’s NASCAR Race Hub program. Blaney has been a good addition to the program as he was invited to speak about last week’s Darlington Raceway incidents. As he went on, he justified the Joey Logano and William Byron controversy. The Penske driver stated that both Logano and Byron are good at their respective place. Interestingly, Logano is his teammate at Team Penske and William Byron is the boyfriend of his sister.

Blaney justified, that Logano would be happy with the win, and Byron wouldn’t be happy by losing the win. However, when asked about Bubba Wallace’s form this year by host Kaitlyn Vincie, Ryan cracked a joke that took Vincie by surprise as well. The Penske driver stated, “Well, you know, I don’t know. He got engaged and his year’s gone downhill.”

Immediately after the joke, Ryan apologized. He asserted, “Just kidding, I’m just kidding. I’m sorry for saying that. I really am. Mainly to Amanda. Not to Bubba.” It is believed that Vincie’s shocked reaction insisted Blaney call for an apology. Vincie exclaimed, “Oh man, I was not expecting you to say that.”

How does the joke play out to Bubba Wallace?

Darrell Wallace Jr got engaged in July last year to his girlfriend Amanda Carter. This made Blaney’s joke even more intriguing and interesting as Bubba won his first Cup Series win right after the engagement. Bubba and Amanda’s reaction to the joke is still unknown.

However, talking about Wallace Jr’s form this season, Ryan Blaney further stated. “I think his year has been pretty decent so far. He’s run really well. He almost won the (Daytona) 500. He had a shot to win Talladega and I think the other tracks are going to come to him. So I think he’s had a pretty good year on track.”
