Danica Patrick and Denny Hamlin have a feud that goes way back. Although they always claimed they were friends, the two somehow always had fights on track. But back in 2015, their tussle in Daytona extended beyond the track, as Patrick confronted Hamlin on what he did.
But it looks like she still hasn’t forgiven Denny for what he did.

In a recent episode of her podcast, “Pretty Intense”, she bluntly asked Hamlin, “So, looking back at the scenario I think you told me like ‘you’re too loose I didn’t do anything wrong you’re just too loose’. Let’s just be really honest, like tell me, like the serious, what really was going on in your head? Like, is that a fact? Or was it something else?”
To which the Joe Gibbs Racing driver justified himself by taking the top team in NASCAR as an example. he said, “I do think your cars were too loose, yes. It’s so interesting when I watch some of these cars like, Hendrick cars and stuff and like how loose they run their cars during you know speedway races. And I’m like ‘gosh I can’t even get the whole way.”
He added, “I’m gonna make you go faster is me pushing you and if I can’t push you then I’m not gonna help you I’m just gonna try to dump you every chance that I get um I always try to push people that I feel like are very stable their cars are stable and I can hit them without them.”
But still, did Denny hit her on purpose?
Was Denny Hamlin’s move on Danica Patrick really Intentional?
Well, Hamlin stays ardent on the fact that he only tried to help.

He said, “I think at the time you might have had a Hendrick Alliance. I’m not really sure but um yeah it’s just they always run their car so loose that it just it’s really hard to work with them. And so you know even to this day its kind of the same old thing. But you know I wanted to help. But honestly, you know it was just a mistake that I made and I’ve made so many in the course of my career.”

Yet, he felt the need to mention what Dale Jr. said about finding success in Super Speedways, “If you ever hear Dale Jr say, you know the way he’s found success on super Speedways is being selfish. And yeah, I’m not the greatest teammate on super speedway races. I found success by doing for myself.”
Now if Hamlin really wanted to help Patrick, or he was just being selfish, as he said, we might never really know. But what do you think? Was it intentional? Let us know in the comments.
