During his appearance on the Pat McAfee show, Tony Stewart engaged in a lively conversation about the distinctions between Drag racing and NASCAR. He shared intriguing insights into his own career journey and the incredible speeds these cars can achieve. Towards the end of the discussion, Tony humorously threw down a challenge to Pat McAfee and his crew to try and beat him in Go-Karts, playfully proclaiming,
What’s funny is that it was McAfee who first talked about beating the smoke with the help of his friends. But then Stewart asked the host come out of their delusional world as he could “Annihilate” all of them.
“It’s gonna take all of you to stop me,” added Tony.

After just a year in Drag Racing, he took the leap and started his own Nitro team, partnering with his wife, Leah Pruett. Last year at Lucas Oil Drag Racing, Tony delivered a strong performance, coming close to clinching a victory. Reflecting on the event, he shared his thoughts by saying, “It wasn’t to focus on performance. It was about learning procedures and learning how to do them correctly and just get the experience of the weekend. So far, we’re happy with that experience.”
He continued, “I’m definitely having more fun than I’ve had in a long time, definitely not anywhere that has fenders on it. So I’m lovin’ this sport.”
