The storylines have begun to form as the first round of the playoffs goes on. The urgency to impact the race, which helps them attempt to make it into the final 12, is visible. In one of the moments of the day, Team Penske‘s star driver, Ryan Blaney, was seen sticking it up to a former champion in the #12. It looked like Kevin Harvick had one final championship push left in him. The duo were seen chasing for a common spot in the race in a fight for P4 with Brad Keselowski.

The tension between the drivers is gradually rising as the stages pass. The dynamic between the #12 and the #6 only worsened going forward, as Ryan Blaney was seen lashing out at Keselowski on the radio, even throwing out expletives.

The battle between the two Ford drivers is one way Chris Buescher’s words earlier in the weekend came to fruition. Buescher’s idea of the playoffs was to convey information to his fellow Ford teams while being focused on their team’s goals simultaneously. Being the lone ray of hope for his team, Stewart-Haas Racing, in the playoffs, Harvick will have to do more than just what he has been doing all season to make it to the final 12.

In a moment in the first stage, Brad Keselowski entered the scenario with Ryan Blaney as he pushed for control over the fifth place. Staying in fifth was a pivotal strategy that would help the driver stay hot on the heels of RFK Racing’s driver-owner for Blaney and Harvick while also landing a top-five finish.

Blaney vented his anger, he said, “He keeps blocking me he’s going to get f***ing wrecked.” Ryan Blaney who is racing Brad Keselowski for the fourth position.” reports popular journalist Jordan Bianchi.

Kevin Harvick has seemingly become more aggressive in his approach to the playoffs, unlike in the regular season, when he opted to maintain a continuous flow of stage and race points. Blaney, on the other hand, came out of a violent crash and is fortunately healthy enough to be racing at Darlington. Keselowski does what he does best, which is to hold his ground.

Having been involved in the dangerous events at Daytona, it is quite unexpected to see Ryan Blaney be so inclined toward crashing another driver. The driver he has been after in the race, Brad Keselowski, has done quite the opposite in the race. The 2012 Cup champion and his team in the #6 have tried their best to reduce the gap between the leader and themselves with fast pit stops and some good racing.

One of the fans commented with a more realistic and simple approach that certainly does make more sense. He said, “then go around him“. Going around Keselowski is going to take Blaney quite an effort, considering he is well-versed in the art of holding his place.
