A few years ago, Chase Elliott made an appearance on the Barstool Sports podcast. He spoke on a variety of subjects, even discussing an idea pitched to him by the hosts. Apparently, it was an idea for a new app, and Elliott confirmed that he knew about it. Unfortunately, he was not particularly interested in the project. So that idea was pretty much dead in the water and failed to get his endorsement.

During the conversation, Elliott told the hosts, “I can’t say I am. It sounds like Jeffrey and, was Ryan interested? I don’t [have that type of money], and he does. […] You can go get this for a good bargain at your nearest suit manufacturer. Yeah, I’m out, sorry.” When the hosts joked that he was going to regret the decision to not invest, he replied, “I’m going to regret a lot of things.”

Elliott was even teased by one of the hosts, who said, “When I’m a Billionaire, and he [Elliott] comes and shakes my hand saying, ‘You did it,’ I’m gonna throw him $25,000.” To which, Elliott nonchalantly replied, “What about in a briefcase, cash? Like you giving it to me; since you’re going to be so rich. […] Awesome!”
