No other human being can have as big or as profound an impact on your life as the one person who gave you the life, who brought you into the world. That person is, of course, your mother. And the NASCAR community made sure they celebrated and paid respect to their mothers on this Mother’s Day, which fell on the same day as the Cup Series race at Darlington, a.k.a. Too Tough To Tame.

From the Joe Gibbs Racing duo of Kyle Busch to Denny Hamlin, to BJ McLeod, Kasey Kahne, and even the Lt. Governor of South Carolina, the NASCAR community paid tributes to the birth givers ahead of the race at Darlington Raceway.

Is the NASCAR Xfinity Series better than the Cup Series?

In a recent episode of the Door Bumper Clear podcast, Freddie Kraft, the spotter of NASCAR driver for 23XI Racing, Bubba Wallace, spoke about the things that make the second tier of NASCAR, the Xfinity Series, better than the Cup Series.

“What lends itself to making some of the Xfinity races, that we talk about how much better they are than the Cup races a lot of the times, is they have tire limits, they have strategy,” Kraft said. “They can’t just come down pit road every time the yellow flag comes out.”

“I mean they literally wore tires out every ten laps. So that obviously warrants NASCAR to step in and do something. This was a teams thing.” he continued.

“Teams push some of the limits and they had excessive tire wear versus the other guy.”
