Recently, Hollywood actor Frankie Muniz appeared on a podcast for Barstool Sports. The Malcolm in the Middle star actually made some pretty big claims. According to him, he was possibly one of the last people to talk to the late Dale Earnhardt before his tragic passing at the Daytona International Speedway.

Muniz said, “As everyone was getting in their cars, I was on the grid. Dale Earnhardt came up to me and he goes, ‘I just have to say, you brought me and my daughter so much closer. Your show, I love your show. I’m a huge fan’. I’m like, ‘Dale Earnhardt!’. He signed my jacket, and he got in his car. So other than his crew chief, essentially I was the last person to talk to him.”

What else did Frankie Muniz say about Dale Earnhardt?
During the race, the Agent Cody Banks star was hanging out in Ken Schader’s garage. Around the time of the accident, everyone was really worried, especially since nobody knew much information. When the event concluded, he elected to switch to watching the LA Clippers game. That was when news broke that Dale Sr had succumbed to his injuries. In light of that, the actor recalled running down and breaking the news to everyone.

That was one of the darkest days for the NASCAR and motor racing community, as they had lost a legend of the sport. As for Muniz himself, during that race weekend, he also got a chance to drive the pace car.

The 36-year-old is well-known for being a motor racing enthusiast. He has also competed in the Champ Car Atlantic Season. Earlier this year, he also competed in an ARCA series test at the Daytona International Speedway.
