Meanwhile, joining Hocevar in the truck series championship hunt was Corey Heim, who had previously secured his spot through a victory at Bristol Motor Speedway. The championship picture came into focus when Hocevar clinched his place with a late-race triumph with only 2 spots up for grabs based on points standings.
These were claimed by Grant Enfinger and Ben Rhodes, while Nick Sanchez and Christian Eckes narrowly missed out due to issues during the race. Zane Smith, the defending Truck Series champion, couldn’t gain enough ground to secure a second championship shot, as he too prepares to transition to the NASCAR Cup Series for the upcoming season with Spire as a Trackhouse signee.
