Now, this may come as a surprise, but apparently, this section of the podcast is now used by the rapper himself. Gucci Mane has developed this part of the interview into an amazing introduction for his song “GOAT.” The album shares the same name as the song, which is an abbreviation for Greatest of All Trappers. This cameo appearance by Mark Martin makes him another former NASCAR racer to feature in a music video, alongside the likes of Dale Earnhardt Jr, Carl Edwards, and Bill Elliott.

The 65-year-old former NASCAR racer tweeted a link to Gucci Mane’s new album, confirming his appearance in Gucci Mane’s videos. The caption of the post exclaims, I may not have ever won a Cup Championship BUT I made on GOAT @gucci1017 song.” The caption celebrates his appearance in the song and adds to a valuable fanboy moment in the life of the legend. The post has created a new sensation in the NASCAR racing community. Fans found themselves totally hooked on the new song that features our beloved Mark Martin.

Have an interesting take?

Reacting to the post from the NASCAR legend, the famous rapper Gucci Mane expressed his gratitude towards the racer and the NASCAR community for building the hype around his new music album. Mane wrote, “Thanks for the support I appreciate it!” The album, and particularly the opening track which features Mark Martin’s cameo, is widely becoming a talking point amongst NASCAR fans ever since its release a few hours ago.

Mark Martin is a great rap fan. Earlier, the racer openly expressed his affection for the music of Dr. Dre in 2002. That taste in rap developed into a love for the work of Eminem—one of the greatest rappers of all time. His interest has also floated around Drake and Snoop Dogg. But it is the work of Gucci Mane in the world of rap music that has impressed Mark Martin the most. The racing legend is rarely shy of expressing his love for the rapper.

The kind of admiration Mark Martin has for Gucci Mane is not without reason. Gucci Mane has made a name for himself in the industry within a short span of time. His appearance in mainstream music was marked by the album ‘Trap House’ in 2005. Since then, the rapper has never looked back. The artist has released a total of 16 studio albums and 70 mixtapes in a decorated career. He has also collaborated with the best in the game. The likes of Drake, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, and Mariah Carey are some names Mane has worked with.

The name that is certain to top the list of former NASCAR drivers with open affiliations and admiration for great music is the Earnhardt family. Both Dale Earnhardt Sr and Jr carry a great love for music and a particular taste. While Dale Sr featured in Brooks and Dunn’s ‘Honky Tonk Truth,’ Dale Jr carries a number of appearances to his name. Jay Z’s popular track ‘Show Me What You Got’ and Nickelback’s ‘Rockstar’ are some of the hits. Additionally, the legendary Carl Edwards has also featured in Sara Evans’ ‘Slow Me Down,’ adding to yet another feature in a music video from a former NASCAR racer.
