The 2021 Daytona 500 is barely a month away, and the excitement is slowly building up. Recently, NASCAR driver Joey Logano posted on social media and expressed his eagerness to race. The 2018 Cup Series champion is also the 2015 Daytona 500 winner, which pretty much explains why he is so keen to start racing.

The 30-year-old is perfectly capable of winning, and he also has the car under him to do it. This is largely down to the fact that the Team Penske outfit is regarded as one of the best teams on the grid. Considering that at least two of their drivers are champions, the team is not one to be trifled with.

Aside from the 2015 win, Logano has generally performed well at the iconic track. In fact, from 2016 to 2019, he managed to place his car in the top 10. The Daytona triumph just adds to his 26 wins in the Cup Series, as well as 30 Xfinity wins. However, this time, he has to try and contend with reigning champion Chase Elliott.

Joey Logano will also be wary of the likes of Kevin Harvick, Denny Hamlin, Kyle Busch, and many more. Even his teammate, Brad Keselowski, is a fierce contender. Also bearing in mind that they are new competitors like Kyle Larson, Alex Bowman, Bubba Wallace, and many more.

Obviously, Logano’s first target is the Daytona 500, with the 2021 Cup Series playoffs following very shortly. In addition to that, he will want to make it into the Championship 4 for the third time in four years. Truthfully speaking, Logano has that capability, but there is a little element of luck involved in making the Championship 4.
