Former NASCAR champion Bobby Labonte has scored a pretty sweet sponsorship deal. The ace driver was seen driving a Ferrari branded car in Wednesday’s racing event.
Motorsports journalist Evan Posocco posted a tweet revealing Labonte’s Ferrari sponsorship deal. In the tweet, he disclosed that it’s not just an in-game graphic but Bobby legitimately sold a sponsorship to Ferrari on his virtual Suoer LAte Model. The sponsorship was first seen in his car in the ‘Wednesday Night iRacing’ event.

Wednesday Night iRacing is a filler event for weeks without any NASCAR racing Pro Invitation Series Races. Yesterday, Drivers raced on a virtual Daytona in the Wednesday Night race.
Labonte is again turning laps for Joe Gibbs Racing but this time in a virtual race. The partnership coming two decades after Labonte won the Winston Cup for the three-time SuperBowl winning head coach and legendary car owner.

Recently, Bobby Labonte made his Pro Invitation Series debut on iRacing. However, he has been competing on iRacing since becoming an inaugural member in 2008. In fact no one on the grid has a deeper history with iRacing and sim racing than the 55-year-old. He is a pioneer of motorsport Esport events since its inception in the 90s.
Labonte finished 18th and 13th in the first two eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational races at the virtual Homestead-Miami Speedway and Texas Motor Speedway
Robert Allen Labonte is an American expert stock vehicle racing driver. The 2000 Winston Cup Series champion, he now contends full-time in the Whelen Euro Series, driving the No. 18 Toyota for RDV Competition, and is a reporter on NASCAR RaceDay for FOX Sports. However, The former champion driver has been away from cup racing events since 2016.

Additionally, Labonte is the first driver to finish the NASCAR Triple Threat at a similar track, by winning races at Martinsville in every one of NASCAR’s best three racing series.
