Most fans and experts took digs at Bowman for uncalled-for aggression. On the contrary, Dale Earnhardt Jr was heard defending him on his podcast. He said “Bowman finally realizes that the block was successful. He starts coming back at the track to be able to commit to turn 1. He can’t go down turn 1 on the apron, right? He’s got to get up, got to get up the track, right? People are saying he blocked to the right, I don’t think so.”

His co-host Mike Davis was taken aback by Dale Jr’s opinion. Moreover, Junior’s exclamation surely angered the fans and they took to social media to take a jab at the former driver. Owing to this, Dale Jr seemed to be disappointed by the treatment from the fans and how his friend and co-host Mike Davis seemed to relish his friend’s hardship.
