A couple of days ago, Richard Petty Motorsports’ Bubba Wallace and financial service company Cash App announced a new multi-year partnership.

Cash App became the prime sponsor of Darrell ‘Bubba’ Wallace. In addition, his number 43 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE got a new green makeover for five races.

Following this, the company will act as an associate partner of Bubba and Richard Petty Motorsports for the rest of the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series season.

Richard Petty Motorsports released an official statement announcing the partnership. After that, the company’s CEO Jack Dorsey posted some renders of the new look.

Additionally, the team published a promo video with the render of Bubba’s Chevy car in the Cash App paint scheme. However, the team decided to release the real pictures of the car.

The team posted a tweet with the pictures of ‘the car in Green’ for the Texas race. They wrote, Putting the finishing touches on the @CashApp @TeamChevy for Texas! #CashApp #RPMotorsports #RideWithBubba”

Bubba Wallace is Cash App’s first partner in the sporting world

Cash App, a financial service company is not exactly known for its involvement with sporting stars and teams. This is the company’s first sponsorship deal with a major sports team.

Bubba Wallace talked about the upcoming partnership in the official statement. He said, “This announcement is really exciting news for our team. It is always nice to see new brands come to the sport and make a commitment like Cash App has with this news.”

He added, “We are excited to have Cash App onboard the No. 43 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE. And I look forward to introducing NASCAR fans to the easiest way to send, spend, save, and invest their money.”
