Ever since the start of this season, Bubba Wallace has been pushing for the lead of the race every weekend. However, it is bad luck which strikes him down every now and then. Following his poor start to last weekend’s race, the 23XI Racing driver saw himself tumble down the order and finish in 27th place. However, despite the sad turn of events, Wallace’s spirits were not dampened.

The #23 Camry driver took to social media to post a humorous, self-deprecating video. The video was of him spinning earlier in the race and it had some elements from the famous racing video game; Mario Kart.

Just as the race went underway, Wallace found himself spinning out after he got loose. Soon after, his car headed down and hit the inside wall. Following his incident, the first caution of the race was brought out. Despite the downfall, Wallace was able to carry on, albeit no longer at the front of the field.

Following his post coming up on Instagram, several fans reacted to support the driver. While many of them found his ‘Mario Kart’ reference to be hilarious, they still made sure to support Wallace and encourage him for the next race.

Despite a few bad days on the racetrack, we are sure that Wallace would be able to bounce back. Ever since the start of this season, Wallace has been showcasing his racing prowess at the top half of the field. Even his boss, Denny Hamlin, had praised his performances towards the end of the last season.

Given all of this, it is evident that it is only a matter of time before the 23XI Racing driver is able to get back to his A-game in the sport. We look forward to seeing him having a good race or two in the upcoming weeks. It has been a long time, and everyone on camp Bubba has been waiting to see the man enter the playoffs. Hopefully, that happens this season.
