Like father, like son. Well, that’s true more often than not. There is no denying, in fact, that children often try to emulate their parents. They take up their hobbies and also sometimes their professions. But the job to fill in the shoes of parents is an onerous one. However, NASCAR’s history is witness to quite a few such father–son duos, and it looks like the list will keep on growing.
NASCAR can boast of several legendary father-son duos, including the Pettys, the Earnhardts, and the Elliotts. With both Kyle Busch’s and Kyle Larson‘s sons showing promise, now it is the turn of Keelan Harvick, Kevin Harvick’s son, who has been racking up accolades all over.

Both Dale Earnhardt Jr and Chase Elliott have done justice to their fathers’ legacies. While these generations are well-established and have created their own name, the future generations of Kyle Busch and Kevin Harvick are stars in the making.
Kyle Busch’s son Brexton is still young and is still in the process of learning. However, it is Kevin Harvick’s 10-year-old who is shining in the limelight. Although his path to racing was forged by his father, Keelan driver does have some tricks up his sleeve. It is evident from the video that he uploaded on social media.

Fressie Kraft’s venture Couch Racer retweeted Keelan’s post, adding the caption, “Of all the NASCAR drivers kids, I feel like Keelan is getting the best and most all-around training of any of them. Most sons aren’t as good as their dads. Can you imagine if he is?” Upon watching the video, one can not but applaud Keelan’s impeccable driving skills as he passes his rival.
Although just 10 years old, this young racer has already acquired many feathers on his cap. Keelan Harvick is the ’22 United States Pro Kart Series (Mini) champion.

After the video was posted, NASCAR enthusiasts couldn’t help but appreciate the dexterity this young driver showcased. They also compared him with Kyle Busch’s son Brexton Busch, in the hopes of being a fellow driver in the future.
One of them wrote, “I think Keelan and Brexton are going to be better than their dads. They both are getting taught how to lose more than how to win. They make them earn it and not just hand them the best equipment. 2 of the greatest are teaching the right way to the future of the sport.”
And in response one wrote, “Very bold statement considering their fathers are absolute legends with numbers few have ever attained. 25 wins each and a championship is realistic, but even that’s putting the cart before the horse.”
Keelan has it for sure. I want to see the video from 1 & 2 to see what happen. 😂 Did pops get the the bump and run?

With a father who is a Cup Series veteran with 60 wins under his belt, Keelan is surely taking cues from the best. With a long road ahead of this little champ, he surely has a bright future ahead of him. Like his father, who has made it to NASCAR’s 75 Greatest Drivers list, perhaps, there are chances that in the future, Keelan will make it to the top 100.
