At Sonoma Raceway, Bubba Wallace had yet another unfortunate race. The 23XI Racing driver has had a season full of bad results that stem mostly from things out of his control.

Things like a bad pit stop, things like being wrecked, things like having important crew members suspended, unfortunate things, like that.

This time around, though, it was an engine failure that made sure Wallace’s car and his race came to an end, one painful inch at a time as his #23 Toyota slowed down.

The 23XI Racing driver was quick to rue his luck to his fans as he posted a pretty fitting and funny tweet after the race. “*engine has left the chat*,” he wrote on his Twitter.

And in response, his fans made sure that they keep their driver’s head up so that his confidence doesn’t fall down. Many of Wallace’s fans cheered him on and reassured him that his time will come, that the second half of the season will perhaps bring more fruit.
