Tyler Reddick woke up yesterday and decided to shake up the internet. That’s the only apt explanation for his announcement to leave Richard Childress Racing and join 23XI Racing…two years from now.

But why is that? Why did Tyler Reddick feel the need to leave RCR clearly after Mr.Childress showed so much faith in him and his team, the man who gave him his Cup break, his first Cup win, why is he leaving him?

Well, the true answer to this question only he will know.

But there are some reasons that can be speculated about his decision. The biggest one is arguably the fact that Reddick sees in 23XI, a project that’s growing, with incredible resources, with ambition, and a project where he can be the leader, all things considered.

Then there’s the fact that Richard Childress once made Reddick delete an anti-Trump tweet that he made in support of his friend and future teammate, Bubba Wallace.

But then again, these are only speculations. The truth only Reddick knows.

What’s important is that 23XI Racing is set to be a team to watch out for, and Tyler Reddick, arguably, is the star of tomorrow.

As for what Reddick feels about announcing his move so early, he insisted that the reason to do so was that it gave everyone time to figure out what’s ahead.
