Despite the controversies and debates surrounding F1’s inaugural Vegas GP, the hype is unreal and the Trackhouse Racing star’s tweet just upped the antics to a whole new level. Suarez posted a picture on his ‘X’ handle wishing the F1 champion the very best for Sunday’s street race.

Besides sharing similar passion, Suarez and Verstappen have a deep bond with the Red Bull star dating Suarez’s future wife’s sister, Kelly Piquet. This got the #99 driver down, paying a visit to the 3-time champion. Suarez shared the picture on social media with the caption, “Good luck this weekend amigo!”

With the post going on to be an internet sensation, Trackhouse Racing’s Project 91 pushed the envelopes, amping it up with a quirky tweet. Retweeting Suarez’s original post with an intriguing caption, Project91 hinted at a possible NASCAR cameo by the 26-year-old champion.

Adding the tweet to the equation and the proud Chevy team’s history of fielding champions like Kimi Raikkonen and Shane van Gisbergen in #91, anything and everything is possible.

Fans speculate an epic cross-over in anticipation

Months before F1 materialized its Vegas street course, NASCAR shot for the moon when it turned the narrow city lanes of Downtown Chicago into a race track, giving Stock Car Racing fans their first look at a Cup Series race on a street course. While the rain gods did the event dirty with their fury, pouring down at the track, Grant Park 220 was a blockbuster in terms of viewership and overall race quality.

The race even had an impressive finish from the debutant Shane Van Gisbergen who outclassed the Cup Series regulars, giving them a masterclass on road racing. The Kiwi Supercar champion achieved the feat with his close association with Trackhouse Racing. The team’s Project91 chapter brought the champion from across the globe to give the community a whiff of the driver’s talent.

Besides SVG, the Project91 venture also brought in famed F1 champion, Kimi Raikkonen to the world of Stock Car Racing. With the team’s tendency to bring in such talents, Max Verstappen’s cross-over to NASCAR for a cameo isn’t an impossibility. Consequently, the tweet riled up fans into a frenzy.

One fan wrote, “That would be legendary” while another commented, “YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW MUCH I NEED THIS
