Responding to Burr’s question about having a rivalry like Ricky Bobby, Patrick answered, “Actually in racing that tends to be a problem within teammates usually. You have the most similar equipment as they do so it’s the bigger test of talent.”
Burr explosively interrupted with an example of Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg in Formula One, where both drivers raced for the Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team and had a massive rivalry between the two.
Patrick agreed with Burr’s example and said, “There you go, in Formula One it’s very prevalent.”
Did Danica Patrick have any rivalries?
Patrick had her fair share of short-lived rivalries both in her NASCAR and IndyCar career. However, it is unclear if she ever had a long-standing and intense rivalry against anyone.

Danica shared brief rivalries with NASCAR drivers such as Elliott Sadler, among several others. Most of them began and ended on track with her attempting her best to wreck them out.
However, Patrick was never good at wrecking somebody, when she did, she would usually be found crashing out herself in the process. Many had made fun of her regarding this. But there was no denying that Patrick gave her best in whichever series she raced.
