Last night, Bubba Wallace suffered from an incident of ‘heatstroke’ during the race. After the race, he was taken to the infield care center at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

After the race, Fox Sports crew found out that Wallace was not feeling well. And even requires help in getting out of his vehicle. It looked like he is having a heatstroke and suffering from dizziness. However, after a few minutes, Bubba stood up and sat on the pit street divider.

After that, Bubba was talking to Fox NASCAR pit correspondent Jamie Little about his race. His race was hindered by a ‘loose wheel’ issue. He had to make an additional pitstop to fix the issue. This isn’t the first time a wheel issue interrupted Bubba’s race. He has been facing similar issues the whole season.

In the interview, he said, “We thought we were okay,”.

Wallace added, “We had that loose wheel, but all-in-all our team couldn’t get a hold of our balance.”

However, the interview was cut short as Bubba started feeling dizziness and other related ailments. Wallace was taken to the nearest medical facility in an ambulance. It looked like Bubba is feeling very bad as he was taken inside on a stretcher. However, in the video, he could be seen talking to the emergency response team as he went in.

After that, NASCAR made an official statement revealing that Wallace is out of the hospital and feeling better. A few hours later, Bubba posted a tweet confirming that he is feeling better now.

During the opening ceremony of the race, Wallace wore a special t-shirt with the ‘i can’t breath’ slogan. This weekend, the whole event was NASCAR’s message against the racial discrimination incidents. And the series presented a strong message in support of the protests.
