Ben Rhodes has been racing in the same circles as popular truck racer Hailie Deegan for several years now. The ThorSport Racing teammates had also raced under the same crew chief at different points in time in recent years. Through their interactions, Rhodes got an opportunity to befriend ARCA Menards driver Chase Cabre. This intriguing information compelled EssentiallySports to enquire in an exclusive interview if the 2023 champion will find himself in Deegan’s guest list for her upcoming wedding.

The #99 driver confirmed, “Yeah, I hope so if they invite me.” Rhodes further continued, “I don’t know if they’re going to do something small and private or if they’re going to actually have a whole bunch of people there.” Naturally, this was not enough to quench the curiosity of millions of racing fans who were impatiently waiting to get their hands on the radiant pictures of the couple’s special event. Fortunately, Rhodes revealed another exclusive nugget.

He disclosed, “But judging by the way Chase and Haley are, I think they’re going to have people there because they like to have fun. Knowing them, they’re going to film it.” The #99 driver also divulged how he felt when his championship-winning crew chief started working with Deegan a few months ago.

After winning their first Truck championship together in 2021, it was evident Ben Rhodes and his crew chief Rich Lushes made an excellent team. But earlier this year, Lushes was assigned to Hailie Deegan’s #13 Ford team. The #99 driver was surprisingly benevolent about it.

Rhodes insisted, “I feel good about it and I’m glad she and Rich Lushes got to work together as driver-crew chief”. Ultimately, though, his team realized that Rhodes was naturally a better fit for Lushes and they united before earning their second title together.
