Obviously, NASCAR fans love to watch races. But what they arguably love even more is the post-race banter on Twitter. Unsurprisingly, the views and opinions expressed by them can build or break the image of any driver. But what if you are a driver who is not even talked about?

According to the data shared by Gambling.com, the Most Loved NASCAR Driver of 2022 was Daniel Suarez. Whereas, topping the charts for the Most Hated Drivers of 2022 was Bubba Wallace. With approximately 44.7% of tweets praising the Mexican driver, around 30.1% of posts on Twitter were against Wallace.
However, when a few days ago, NASCAR author Jenna Fryer posted the Top 10 lists on her official Twitter handle, fans could not find two of their favorite drivers, Chase Elliott and William Byron in it.
In fact, Jenna Fryer too was worried about where Elliott was.
But where is Chase Elliott?

But that doesn’t mean they were not talked about on Twitter. Here is what Gambling.com shared about the top 12 drivers in the 2022 playoffs.
Hendrick Motorsports Chase Elliott ranked 12 in the Most Loved NASCAR Drivers list whereas William Byron made it to the 14th position. With 28.6% and 26.4% of positive sentiment on Twitter, respectively, the two drivers are definitely in the Top 15.
Well, that’s a relief for Elliott and Byron fans! But of course, they are upset that their favorite drivers didn’t make it to the Top 10 list.
Apart from that, if one looks closely, there is another interesting bit in the list above. Something that most people were not expecting.
Ross Chastain is on the list of Most Loved NASCAR drivers
After him wrecking almost half of the field, not many would expect Ross Chastain to make it to the Most Loved Drivers list. Standing at the 18th position, Chastain is ahead of Christopher Bell and Denny Hamlin.

And no one tweets about Ross Chastain?
— Jenna Fryer (@JennaFryer) September 28, 2022
With 24.% positive sentiment tweets, the #1 driver has around 10.8% tweets about him that are negative. Although he did not make it to the Top 10, being on the most loved list is a relief for most of his fans at the moment.
