Earlier, the NASCAR Cup race at the Nashville Superspeedway wrapped up with Chase Elliott winning. This time around, NBC Sports was handling the broadcast, rather than Fox Sports. Almost instantly, many fans noted the drastic increase in content quality from the network. This was evident when former Hendrick Motorsports crew chief Steve Letarte and NBC Sports aired a video.

This video explained why there have been so many loose wheel issues this year. To be precise, he explained the difference between securing a single lug nut and securing five of them. Needless to say, many fans appreciated the clear and informative explanation. However, the main thing that fans noticed was the difference in the broadcast.
this was an excellent segment, very informative

That cutaway car put’s FOX to shame.

This is great! But I think for me, the biggest difference between the 2 TV partners of NASCAR is the quality of broadcast. NBC makes the entire race feel like an important sporting event. FOX makes it seem like a TV show for entertainment full of fluff beginning to end. 1/2

Thank you @NASCARonNBC for excellent coverage! The production and directing was 100x better than what we’ve had in the previous races! Awesome graphics! Awesome explanations! No cartoon drivers! Extremely informative announcing, yet personable & relatable guys calling the action!

Or at the very latest at Daytona when the first wheel came off, not 18 weeks later

NASCAR please stick with NBC and never let FOX broadcast a race again.

Some noted that the NBC network treated the race like an important event. On the other hand, they believed that Fox Sports treated the race like an entertainment program.
They also said that the graphics were much better, and it was an all-around better experience for TV viewers.
NASCAR fans were unhappy with Fox Sports
Of course, while everyone was praising NBC Sports to the high heavens, they came down heavily on Fox Sports. As per one response, ‘That cutaway car puts Fox to shame’. A few fans also suggested that while Fox could start their broadcast for the Daytona 500, NBC should cover everything else.
FOX could never

Fox should start and park after The 500. Let NBC run with the session.

FOX had 18 races and people still didn't understand. NBC made one clear, concise graphic explanation and everyone understands in one race.

This clip in and of itself is better than EVERYTHING Fox rolled out for the year. It's so nice to have professionals in the room again.

Others had issues with how the Fox network still could not explain the subject of the new wheels. This was after 18 races had passed by, and they failed to make viewers understand the root of the problem.

Yet, NBC was able to break down the explanations in the very first race that they were broadcasting in 2022. The best part was that the fans largely agreed that they understood the problem and why the teams were repeatedly making mistakes.
