“Every F**king Week”- Tempers Flare at Martinsville as Frustrated Timmy Hill Confronts Stewart Friesen

The NASCAR Truck Series can be quite rough to race in at times, and Timmy Hill found that out in the Friday race at the Martinsville Speedway. The 31-year-old race car driver was pushed quite hard on the last lap by Stewart Friesen, and while no wreck ensued, the Hill Motorsports owner was irate. Not just this, after the race, he straight up walked up to Friesen and gave him a piece of his mind. While the 40-year-old tried to justify his move, he had to concede that what he did was not the best course of action.

Friesen and Hill finished P19 and P20, respectively, but in all fairness, the latter should have finished ahead of his competitor. The 40-year-old had a rough race as a lot of people took advantage of him and used him up left and right. So, on the final lap, the veteran decided to let all of that frustration go, and the Hill Motorsports car was just at the wrong place at the wrong time. He was not getting a reprieve, though.

“I get f******g wasted every f******g week,” Friesen agitatedly said as Hill walked up to him on pit road. “You got wasted by everybody else except f*****g me. I didn’t waste you, these f*****g kids did, you’re better than that,” Timmy Hill replied. “You’re absolutely right,” the veteran racer said as he admitted his mistake. “You’re supposed to be better than that. Out of these f*****g kids, you’re supposed to be better,” concluded Timmy Hill as he walked away.

In a media interaction after the race, the 31-year-old said something that echoed the sentiment of almost every single Cup Series driver active today. There is a lack of respect and sometimes even a lack of skill when it comes to the drivers in the Truck Series. They’re not looked at with fond eyes due to their knack for wrecking every race, and Timmy Hill agrees.

It’s not just the younger drivers that the Hill Motorsports boss has a problem with; it’s the older ones as well. After all, it was two veterans, Stewart Friesen and Grant Enfinger, who bumped into his car during the race for no clear reason. NASCAR quickly needs to do something about the image of the competition because it is going down at a fast pace.

“I’ve treated Freisen with love and respect over the years, I thought he had respect for us but that move there was just disrespectful and I just wanted to go down and talk to Stewart about how I felt. He let me know that he had a rough race, a lot of guys run him over but it had nothing to do with me. He’s a veteran in this series…the kids out here driving, they’re reckless, they’re dangerous, it’s disrespectful…he’s (Freisen) not the only one, Grant Enfinger ran into me. A lot of veterans I lost respect for today, they’re no better than these kids out here,” Timmy Hill said.
