It’s all about the guitar in the Music City, or so it seems. NASCAR recently posted a captivating image on their social media platforms, featuring Chase Elliott, Austin Dillon, Kevin Harvick, Kyle Larson, and Carl Edwards posing with guitars at the Nashville Speedway. The photos, a culmination of victory throwbacks, aimed to capture the essence of the vibrant city where the sport is set to return after a brief hiatus.

However, the absence of one prominent driver in the image has left fans fuming.

The post captioned, “It’s all about the guitar in the Music City,” released by NASCAR, intended to capture the spirit of the Music City. But, unintentionally, it created a stir among fans by excluding one of the most iconic moments in recent NASCAR history.

As it turns out, Kyle Busch’s celebration at the Nashville Superspeedway remains etched in the minds of fans, symbolizing the passion and exuberance that drivers bring to the sport.

The reference was, of course, to Busch’s unforgettable celebration at the Nashville Superspeedway back in 2009. After winning the track’s NASCAR Nationwide Series race, Busch channeled his inner “rock star” and raised the trophy, a painted Gibson guitar, over his head.

He then proceeded to smash it on the concrete, not once but three times, in an effort to distribute the pieces to his crew.

The NASCAR post quickly became inundated with comments from disgruntled fans, expressing their frustration and disbelief. Numerous fans questioned the omission of Kyle Busch, with one exclaiming, “Where’s Kyle Busch’s???”

Another fan echoed the sentiment, asking, “How could you not include Rowdy?”

The exclusion of a driver of Busch’s caliber, who has made significant contributions to the sport, left many puzzled and upset.

The absence of Kyle Busch’s photo with a guitar was perceived by fans as a snub, and they were not shy about sharing their discontent. Many fans expressed their disappointment, with one stating, “Come on, Kyle Busch?!?!?” as another added, “Wow missed Kyle Busch twice, especially when he smashed it”

Some fans argue that NASCAR’s decision to omit Kyle Busch’s photo from the post reflects a lack of recognition for his contributions to the sport. Busch’s fiery personality and aggressive driving style have made him a polarizing figure among fans, but there is no denying his talent and success on the track. With two NASCAR Cup Series championships and numerous race wins to his name, Busch has established himself as one of the sport’s most accomplished drivers.
