NASCAR star driver Kyle Busch has endured everything that has come with his racing career. Be it heartbreak defeats, emotional goodbyes to his former teams, or the struggle to reinvent himself. While the sponsors on his race car and the team on his firesuit have changed over the years, one thing has always remained constant in his life, and that’s his family.
Although the life of a NASCAR driver looks lavish and exuberant, the reality is completely different. Being on the road every weekend, drivers do not get a lot of time to spend with their families, which is why those hard-earned victories mean so much more to them. The 2024 season wasn’t exactly a success for Rowdy, but as far as personal life is concerned, he is certainly racking up new records. And this time around he’s celebrating his 14th year anniversary with the love of his life, Samantha Busch.

Samantha Busch has a knack for keeping the NASCAR community in the loop with regular updates on their personal life achievements apart from racing. And she did take a moment to pen down a special message for her husband via Instagram. “I loved you then, I love you still, I’ll love you forever. To the man that’s my best friend, always has my back (like getting food out of my teeth in VL), the father who is always there for our kids and the one who after all these years still puts a smile on my face. Happy Anniversary ❤️”
The Next Gen race car certainly has been a big roadblock for Rowdy in his progress on the racetrack. But that hasn’t affected his personal life and equation with his family. Despite the tough outing, he was seen having the time of his life with his dear ones during the Christmas holidays. And that indeed is a perfect way to disconnect with racing and recharge for what is to come next.
Samantha Busch also shared a post standing tall with Rowdy, reflecting on how the year 2024 has gone by for them. “2024 taught us lessons, gave us memories, and pushed us to grow. Now it’s time to set the tone for 2025—what’s your word for the new year? ✨ For me, it’s gratitude, growth, and slowing down (shoutout to my special friend for inspiring the last one 😉). These words remind me to focus on appreciating the little things, embracing personal development, and making space to truly enjoy life.”

For the most part, Busch has kept himself invested in NASCAR racing and didn’t try his hand at other disciplines. But, in 2024, something changed as his son Brexton started getting in more dirt races under his belt, and Rowdy was the one who worked as the crew chief. This pushed him to compete at a few dirt races this season, and ultimately that was the encouragement he needed to embark on a new adventure.

Well before he made his debut at the historic midget racing event, he was scheduled to compete in USAC Nationals Midget races at Bakersfield Speedway and Ventura Raceway, and let’s just say he didn’t have the best of times piloting a midget race car. But, he’s now looking to bounce back at the Tulsa Shootout, where he will be competing against his son Brexton and NASCAR rival, Kyle Larson.
Sharing an update about the big event in Oklahoma, Samantha shared an update on her Instagram story stating, “When you are your kiddos biggest fan.” Well, it seems like Samantha is rooting for her son Brexton over Rowdy. It will be interesting to see how Rowdy will fare against some talented dirt racers, as this is his last prep race before the Chili Bowl.
