Is this the cage battle that Elon Musk was challenging his fellow counterpart, Mark Zuckerberg? The world has been taken by the storm of Threads, which was launched just days back. It has not been long since when Musk challenged the Meta owner in a caged bout. However, netizens were left to their speculations whether it was a physical one or a figurative one.
Many suspected the challenge was a publicity stunt for Zuckerberg’s Twitter version. Nevertheless, after the launch of Threads, Zuckerberg has been surely defeating his rival in the first half of the fight. The application promises to be “sane” and allows users to share their opinions openly. But it seems the banters on Twitter are over, as some loyal fans are still in support of the Elon Musk brand, as Brett Griffin tried to confirm their presence.

On the first day of its launch, the newly developed application Threads witnessed a whopping 30 million sign-ups. Zuckerberg and his parent company Meta tried to leverage Instagram users to increase its market share. The application also boasts hassle-free signup for its users and can also be used with the existing Instagram profile.
Moreover, Threads also promises a transparent use of the profile. The owner of the account has complete authority to control its profile, as to who can mention them and who can react to the Threads that are posted. The world is yet to get a grip on the new social media platform, and caught in this whirlwind are also NASCAR insiders, including the wives of Kyle Busch and Bubba Wallace.
The wives posted their first threads after the launching on Thursday. But it seems there are still staunch supporters of the old application, as the veteran spotter Brett Griffin took to Twitter to know which side his followers are on. He inquired, “Is this thing (still) on?”

It seems that the veteran spotter was not wrong with his intuition as many netizens preferred Twitter over the application launched by Meta. Many netizens took to the comment section and express their dissatisfaction with the rival media.
They wrote, “I don’t see how Musk can’t sue for copyright laws. It looks exactly the same. No thanks for me, I don’t need more apps to download”
“They will all come back just wait.”
