But there is one thing that deserves a special mention. Brett Griffin talks about safety, and that he isn’t stupid. So, could he be talking about the infamous Tweet from the American Politician Paul Vallas, against the race?

The Paul Vallas’s Infamous Tweet Regarding The NASCAR Race

Former budget director for the city of Chicago, Paul Vallas, Tweeted against the move to Chicago. However, a video of muscle cars doing doughnuts in Downtown Chicago fueled a whole movement.

Vallas tweeted, “No need for Chicago’s mayor to bring NASCAR to downtown Chicago. It’s already here. We’re the police allowed to make any arrests? Impound any vehicles? Impose any fines? Videos like these will sure help bring businesses & visitors to our city.”

Here is the original tweet.

However, the NASCAR fans were just not having it. And launched a barrage of comments, criticizing the Mayor.
