After coming third in the race at Atlanta Motor Speedway, he reflects on his expectations for the future. In an interview, he said, “You know I feel like every time I’m out here in the Xfinity Series, I have something to prove for real and I know I deserve to be out here and hopefully I’ll be back for more with Gibbs.”

He also stated, “You know when you don’t run a lot it’s tough that’s why I try to front-load my races in the year to not have such big gaps between. It’s just so tough to jump in you know when you’re not running anything.”

Adding, “I don’t race anything else so I have this is my 6th race of the year, unless I get something else, it will be my last race of the year.”
