The last time Denny Hamlin‘s fiancee pretended to be sick was when she pulled a transformation IG reel. She had first quipped, “I can’t go out. [cough, cough] I’m sick,” and then came out a stunning Jordan, who traded her white T-shirt and pajamas that looked quite lived-in for a two-piece outfit coupled with knee-high black boots. This was back in 2022, and fans absolutely loved it! Two years on, this time, Fish is genuinely sick. She kept her diagnosis a secret but the set of symptoms is as painstaking as it can get.

This time around, Hamlin’s 37-year-old fiancée took to social media, revealing that she had been suffering from back pain in the last two days. And, as per her testimony, the pain is severe enough for her body to ‘lock up’ and barely move. Speaking of Fish, who’s known for her fitness-focused lifestyle, has been relying on Tylenol, a non-opioid analgesic and antipyretic agent used to treat fever and mild to moderate pain, to manage back pain only for it to spring up again.

Among the remedies, she also tried exercising and more but to no avail. Unlike Denny, who started the season newly engaged and healthy after a surgery to repair a condition in which his collar bone intruded into the rotator cuff in his right shoulder, it looks like the year might not end all that well for Hamlin and Co. At her wit’s end, she has finally turned to social media for answers. In her stories, she wrote,

“Help.. I have been having severe mid/upper back pain for the last two days. Completely locked up, can barely move, or reach over to pick my coffee. I have tried exercises, cupping, acupressure mat. Tylenol is the only thing that seems to help with pain but comes right back. Any at home suggestions or recs? Ty. [Crying emoticon],” Fish expressed.

But where is Denny?

The last update from Denny came just seventeen hours ago when he posted an Instagram reel captioned, “Couldn’t reel it in when it counted, what’s new 🎣. Suspect edit by @jareddallen. Way more to this story than meets the eye.” Denny is out fishing with his friends, and the story that Denny is hinting at is one where one of his friends threw a challenge to Denny. “If you don’t catch this fish, I’m going to be f**king pi**ed.” Fast forward to a few minutes later, turns out Denny horribly failed! He ranted,

No, I didn’t do sh*t. Ughhh!” After a long haul of incessant beeps, the buddy who challenged Denny was heard again, “I’d rather fall in the f**king water next time than hand it off to Denny.

What is Denny Hamlin up to with no racing action?

What’s your perspective on:

Can Denny Hamlin overcome these off-season hurdles, or is his NASCAR future looking uncertain?

Have an interesting take?

For the moment, Denny Hamlin will be content to relax in the off-season after another disappointing campaign. However, he cannot rest for long, because the hunt is on for a new title sponsor after the departure of FedEx. The #11 driver is currently going through the same situation that befell former teammate Kyle Busch when his own sponsor left. To further complicate matters, Hamlin doesn’t even know if his team will be racing in 2025. However, the reports suggest King’s Hawaiian is taking up the responsibility to bring the championship home for the No. 11.

As per Sports Business Journal, RFK has landed the deal with the grocery conglomerate Kroger Co., and Hawaiian is now looking to enter a new [big] team. But another possible resort the sponsor could be Front Row Motorsports as well.

Not to forget, 23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports are embroiled in a lawsuit with NASCAR. More to the point, 23XI Racing and Michael Jordan are the ones spearheading the lawsuit against NASCAR. The general idea is that the two teams accused the sport of breaching the teams’ trust. As a consequence, they refused to sign the new charter agreement, and since then things have been frosty.

In other words, this is going to be a long off-season for Denny Hamlin. To be frank, this lawsuit appears to be a massive contest of wills. Will NASCAR back down and offer a better deal that might suit everyone? Or will 23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports break and give in to NASCAR’s terms in order to stay in the competition?
