NASCAR, racecar driving, motorsports, life—all of these things are unpredictable. But then there are some aspects of these that can somewhat be predicted. For instance, predicting Kyle Busch to always be straightforward and blunt is a good bet for your money.

This is something Rowdy recently proved once again as he responded to a question about Corey LaJoie after their tussle in Martinsville last week which further became huge when LaJoie admitted he intentionally tried to wreck the two-time Cup champion.

Corey LaJoie admitted he ruled “you’re out” against Kyle Busch at Martinsville

LaJoie recently explained on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio how during last week’s race, Busch rolled up to his left rear for 22nd position and hit him. Despite that, the Spire Motorsports driver considered it collateral damage of racing at Martinsville so he let it slide.

Then it happened again, and again, which made LaJoie go, “Three strikes, you’re out.”

“We roll into three and, he’s on my left rear quarter so I just hung a left. You don’t drive into my left rear four times and not expect to get a door,” he said.

Clearly, LaJoie isn’t the biggest fan of Busch based on his comments, but here’s the thing, Busch isn’t the biggest fan of LaJoie either.

Speaking in an interview ahead of the race at the Talladega Superspeedway, Busch was asked about his take on  what he thinks of LaJoie to which he said, “I don’t know, ask everybody else.”

“As far as him with me, he’s been a pain in the d**k to race with and has for years just coming up, lapping him and things like that. Every time I’m around him, it’s like he tries an extra 20% hard to make sure I stay behind him, just not fun,” he described.

Busch further revealed his side of the story about the repeated contacts between the two as he claimed he was trying to run the bottom while LaJoie was running the top. But the problem was, as he explained, his #8 car wouldn’t run the bottom.

The RCR driver claimed this led to him “barely nudging” and “touching” LaJoie a little bit out of the corners which further led to the Spire Motorsports driver eventually trying to wreck him and later admitting to it on air.

But Busch made sure he called out NASCAR for their inconsistency with the whole thing, especially considering what his former teammate recently went through.

“[Corey LaJoie] admitted on his podcast that he wanted to crash me and create a yellow and didn’t get penalized even though Denny Hamlin did so, again, our ‘inconsistenty of consistency’ or the other way around is impeccable,” he added.
