One thing you can expect from Denny Hamlin is that he never backs out from speaking his mind. He did it once again at his ‘Actions Detrimental‘ podcast about the bubble battle. While he might not have brought the win home, P2 is a pretty sweet position. He performed extremely well and had a sprinkle of luck affront with two top contenders rushing out of the race because of technical difficulties. Blaney was out of gas and Bell was for mechanical issues! All in all, it was a good time for Hamlin.

But that didn’t stop him from dropping the truth bombs about the impending NASCAR playoff battle in his podcast ‘Action Detrimental.

Remember the time when Martin Treux didn’t make it to the playoffs even when he was third in points? At that time there were too many winners to fill the playoffs and he was laid out. But the same cannot be said today as some of the drivers have already won twice or thrice. Denny Hamlin himself has three wins this season! In Gateway you had a new winner Cindric and with that, the competition around the playoff bubble has started to look even fiercer. And good drivers like Kyle Busch and Joey Logano from the outside looking in.

Denny Hamlin straight-up feels that a “premier driver” can face playoff exclusion. He says for the longest time you had the same group of drivers looking in from the outside. The 23XI team owner says that this season feels different. He senses a change in the air and a change in how things will eventually pan out. According to him, there are going to be fewer race winners compared to previous years. And with the playoff bubble more crowded than ever, Hamlin says that the next month or so will be crucial for those not in the playoffs yet.

He said, You’re not gonna have the 15, 16 winners like we had before I don’t know what this is probably sixth winner seventh winner I’m able more than that so I just think you were reaching kind of asymptote spot of that’s where we’re at and so who misses it I don’t know I think a lot of it gets decided over this summer stretch these next five to six weeks are really gonna be important for those who who are on that bubble you know to try to get a win.” His statements just showcase the reality– In NASCAR, every lap counts, and every driver’s dream hangs in the balance.

Hamlin’s got a massive – mastiff!

Denny Hamlin is a Cup lover that we all know, but puppy lover um… not sure about that! His daughter found her with a park ranger and got the puppy with her. The story of how the adoption came to be was interesting. And his daughter walked on the podcast to narrate it! She said that they were at the Gateway Arch in St.Louis and they were there to watch a movie, which Hamlin didn’t enjoy. Hamlin decided to go back home and that’s when Taylor came across a park ranger. And we know how the story goes.

But while Taylor has practically adopted it, Hamlin is not sure whether Lulu (the dog even has a name now) is going to be a permanent member of the family. He said, This is short-term happiness and a long-term pain in the a**. He said that the kids will not take care of the dog, they don’t ever pick after themselves!

Well seems like Hamlin sure has an important meeting he needs to hold pretty soon!
